Grade 4&5 SnowPass™ FAQs:
1. How do I get one ?
A. Just fill out the application on this website or brochure, follow the application instructions and mail it back to us. Please remember that this is a one per lifetime offer, if your child is in Grade 4, they will not be eligible for another SnowPass next year.
2. When can I use it ?
A. Your Grade 4&5 SnowPass™ is valid for the entire 2010/11 snow season, starting Dec.1, 2010.
3. Can I go by myself ?
A. Sure. More than half of our ski/snowboard areas don’t require you to be with a paying adult. However, some of them will require a parent or guardian to stay onsite.
4. What if my parents/guardian don’t ski/snowboard ?
A. Let’s face it, until you’re old enough to drive, chances are you’ll need an adult to take you to the hill. The secret is to get them skiing or riding too! Many ski/snowboard areas offer beginner adult discount Discover Packages starting from $30, that includes a lift ticket, lesson and gear. For more info on Discover Packages visit skicanada.org.
5. Can I use my SnowPassTM on a school trip ?
A. Unfortunately you cannot, but there are lots of other times you can use your Grade 4&5 SnowPass™, like at night or on the weekend.
Fill out the online application, print the confirmation page, and send it with these 3 things. Please do not staple together.
PHOTO: A wallet-sized colour photo, approximately 2” x 2”, of yourself that will be printed onto your pass. (Note: Please print your name and province on the back of the photo. Your Grade 4&5 SnowPass™ will not be valid without a photo.)
PROOF OF AGE OR GRADE: Please include a photocopy of your birth certificate (birth year 2000 or 2001) or a current grade four or five report card or last year’s year-end grade three or four report card. (For your protection, these documents will be destroyed and will not be returned to you. Do NOT send originals).
ADMIN/DELIVERY FEE: Include a cheque payable to the Canadian Ski Council for the processing & delivery of your Grade 4&5 SnowPass™ card:
$20.00 + HST for regular mail (up to 10-14 days delivery time)
Or...complete the Online Application in full and upload:
PHOTO: A jpeg photo, approximately 2” x 2”, of yourself that will be printed onto your pass.
PROOF OF AGE OR GRADE: Please upload a copy of your birth certificate (birth year 2000 or 2001) or a current grade four or five report card or last year’s year-end grade three or four report card in jpeg format. (HINT: Take a picture of the proof of age with your digital camera and it is in jpeg mode).
ADMIN/DELIVERY FEE: Pay online with Visa or Master Card for the processing & delivery of your Grade 4&5 SnowPass™ card:
